Yes! Friends and family can send money to your child’s Greenlight account, even if they are not on your family’s account.

There are two easy ways someone outside your account can send money to your child: using a pay link or sending a Greenlight Gift

How can someone send money using Pay link?

Each child has a unique pay link that can be shared with friends and family.

When someone uses this link, they can send money directly to your child’s Greenlight account whether it's a gift, IOU, or a job well done!

How can someone send a Greenlight Gift?

Friends and family can also send money using Greenlight Gifts, which are great for birthdays, holidays, or special occasions!

Who can send money to a Greenlight account?

Anyone can send money using a Pay link or Greenlight Gift, including:

  • Parents or relatives not on the account
  • Grandparents
  • Friends

Important to know

To successfully send money through Paylink or Greenlight Gifts, the sender must have a U.S.-based billing address.
