How do I withdraw my money out of my investment portfolio?

• Funds can be transferred from the Invest module back to your Greenlight Wallet or to Spending, Savings, or Giving in your child’s dashboard.
• If you would like to transfer any money that is currently invested in stocks or ETFs within your ‘Investing for Parents’ or ‘Investing for Kids’ portfolios,  those securities must be sold before the money can be withdrawn from your Invest module.
• If you recently added money to “Cash to Invest” that money is available for immediate investment, but it may take 1-2 business days for the cash to be available for withdrawal. 
• There is a behind the scenes process called settlement where money from the sale of an investment takes a little while to finalize (usually 1-2 business days). While that process happens, you are allowed to buy investments with that money (since it’s on the way) but you can’t actually withdraw it until it is final (or settled)
  

To sell your child’s investments:

1. 1. Tap the "Invest" tab from the bottom of your app
   2. Under "My kids' Invest accounts," tap the child's name you'd like to sell investments for
   3. Tap the stock or ETF that you would like to sell
   4. Tap the "Buy or Sell" button
   5. Tap “Sell”
   6. Enter in the $ amount of how much you’d like to sell or tap “Sell All” to sell the entire amount
   7. Tap “Review Order”
   8. Review your order and tap "Place Order"
   9. Once sold, the funds from the sale will move into your child’s "Cash to Invest" balance 

To transfer funds from your child’s Investing for Kids "Cash to Invest" to Greenlight Wallet, Savings, Spending, or Giving:

1. 1. Tap the "Invest" tab from the bottom of your app
   2. Under "My kids' Invest accounts," tap the child's name you'd like to transfer funds from
   3. Tap the "Cash to Invest" tile
   4. Tap "Move $ Out"
   5. Select a preset $ amount or tap "Other" to enter in a custom amount
   6. Select the destination for the Cash to Invest funds to go "To"
   7. Tap "Move Money"

To sell your personal investments as the parent:

1. 1. Tap on the "Invest" tab at the bottom of your app 
   2. Under "My Invest account," tap your Investing tile
   3. Tap the stock or ETF that you would like to sell
   4. Tap the "Buy or Sell" button
   5. Tap "Sell"
   6. Enter in the $ amount of how much you’d like to sell or tap “Sell All” to sell the entire amount
   7. Tap "Review Order" 
   8. Review your order and tap "Place Order"
   9. Once sold, the funds from the sale will move into your "Cash to Invest" balance

   6. Select the destination for the Cash to Invest funds to go "To"
   7. Tap "Move Money"
