Spend Controls are permission-based spending rules for specific stores and spending categories.
When Spend Controls are set, they allow the Primary Accountholder and Authorized Approver to place their own limits on a child or older adult’s spending at a particular store or within a particular spending category.
When a Spend Control is set and the "Pull Overages from Spend Anywhere" toggle is off, your child or older adult's card will be declined if they try to spend money beyond the Spend Control or Spending Category limit.
Spend Controls are a great way to easily keep tabs on a child or older adult’s spending and their budget!
How-To Edit Spend Control Settings:
Turn the "Pull Overages from Spend Anywhere" toggle on to allow your child or older adult to use money from their Spend Anywhere balance to pay for charges that fall within a Spending Category.
