What countries does the Safe Family Device work in?

While the accompanying Greenlight app that connects with your Safe Family device is only downloadable from the United States Apple and Google Play store, your Safe Family device includes coverage for location sharing in over 120 countries! 

The device works internationally whether the whole family is traveling abroad together or the device is with a family member outside the US while the Primary Accountholder stays stateside. 

Keep in mind that coverage can vary depending on local cellular network availability, terrain, and environmental conditions — even in supported countries, there may be areas where location updates are limited or unavailable.

Are there extra charges for using the device internationally?

Your standard monthly data subscription covers international use in all supported countries — there are no additional charges from Greenlight for international tracking. However, Greenlight cannot account for any local carrier fees or roaming charges that may apply depending on your situation.
