Getting a new phone happens! Here’s how to update your number in Greenlight, depending on whose number needs to be changed.
Updating the Primary Accountholder or Authorized Approver’s phone number
You can update your phone number in your Greenlight app by following the steps below:
- Tap on the settings gear from your Home dashboard
- Tap “Personal information”
- Tap your current “Mobile number”
- Verify your account by entering in your Greenlight password and tapping “Submit”
- Enter in your new phone number and tap “Save”
- You will then be asked to enter in a one-time code sent to your new phone number via SMS
- Once the code is confirmed, your updated phone number will be saved to your account!
Important: If you are logged out of your Greenlight app or anything doesn’t go as expected, please call our customer service team at 888-483-2645 so we can further assist!.
Updating a child’s phone number
If your child has a new phone or phone number, it’s easy to update it in the Greenlight app!
- Tap the profile of the child you’d like to change or add the phone number for
- Tap “Profile”
- Tap “Personal information”
- Tap “Mobile number” to update their existing number or Tap “Add” to add a mobile number for the first time
- Enter in your password to verify your account and tap “Submit”
- Enter the mobile number, and tap ”Save”
