How do I add money to Cash to Invest?

• To start placing trades within your Invest module, you'll need to transfer money into that Invest Module's ‘Cash to Invest’ balance. 

To move money into the ‘Cash to Invest’ balance:

1. Navigate to your Child's Dashboard.
2. Tap the ‘Investing’ tile.
3. Tap ‘Cash to Invest’ 
4. Tap ‘Move $ In’
5. Select the amount of money you'd like to move in and where you'd like to move money from.
6. Tap ‘Move Money’ and you’re all set

To move money out of the ‘Cash to Invest’ balance and into another category:

1. Navigate to your Child's Dashboard.
2. Tap the ‘Investing’ tile.
3. Tap ‘Cash to Invest’ 
4. Tap ‘Move $ Out’
5. Select the destination that you would like to move money to, and select the amount you'd like to move.
6. Tap ‘Move Money’ and you’re all set!

In some app versions+, you will find the ‘Invest’ tile in the ‘Accounts’ tab: 

1. Open your Greenlight app and tap on the ‘Accounts’ tab at the bottom of the screen. 
2. From there, navigate to your Invest homepage by tapping into the ‘Investing’ tile.
3. Tap ‘Cash to Invest’. 
4. Tap ‘Move $ In’.
5. Select the amount you'd like to move in, and where you'd like to move money from. 
6. Tap ‘Move Money’ and you’re all set! 

To move money out of the ‘Cash to Invest’ balance and into another category:
