How do I add my card to my Apple Wallet?

Ready to use your Greenlight card with Apple Wallet? Once your card is activated, adding it is super simple. You can do it right from your Greenlight app or through the Apple Wallet app!

How to add your card to your Apple Wallet

Add via the Greenlight App 

On your device as a child or older adult:

  1. Open your Greenlight app
  2. Tap you “Accounts” tab
  3. Tap “Manage your debit card
  4. Tap “Add to Apple Wallet

  1. Tap “Continue” (You don’t need to enter your name or card details here)

  1. Agree to the Cardholder Agreement

  1. You may be prompted to verify your card using the one-time passcode (OTP) sent via text or email
  2. You’ll see a confirmation screen that your card has been successfully added to your mobile wallet!

 

Add via the Apple Wallet App 

On your device as a child or older adult:

  1. Open the Apple Wallet app.
  2. Tap the Add (+) button in the upper-right corner
  3. Select “Debit or Credit Card” 
  4. Tap “Continue
  5. To add your card details you can either hold your iPhone near the chip on the card, select “Enter Card Details Manually” to type in your card information, or tap “Scan Card with Camera” to scan your card information.
  6. Tap “Next
  7. You may be prompted to Verify Your Card. This may involve:
    • Entering a one-time passcode (OTP) sent via text or email
    • Or, by calling a number provided on your screen
  8. Once verified, your card is ready to use!

How to pay using your Apple Wallet 

Simply double-click the Side Button (or Home Button on older models) and hold the top of your iPhone near the point of sale terminal.

Please Note: Our cards cannot be used with Apple Cash to transfer money from person to person. Our cards can only be used with Apple Wallet to make transactions with merchants.
