How Do I Lock or Unlock My TransUnion Credit Report in Greenlight?

Locking your credit gives you more control over when your TransUnion credit file can be accessed. You can lock or unlock your TransUnion credit report anytime directly in the Greenlight app.

How do I lock my TransUnion Credit Report?

  1. Tap the “Accounts” tab at the bottom of your screen
  2. Under your credit score in “Credit Protection”, tap “Lock
  3. You’ll be taken to the “Credit Lock” page
  4. Tap “Lock Credit Report” to lock your TransUnion credit report

How do I unlock my TransUnion Credit Report?

  1. Tap the Accounts tab at the bottom of your screen.
  2. Under your credit score in “Credit Protection”, tap the “Credit is locked” tile
  3. You’ll be taken to the “Credit Lock" page
  4. Tap Unlock Credit Report to to unlock your TransUnion credit report

Why does it say “Service Is Temporarily Down”?

If you see a “Service is temporarily down” message when trying to access your credit lock status, it’s usually due to a temporary network or service issue.

Try the following:

  1. Exit the current screen and try again
  2. Fully close the Greenlight app, then reopen it and retry
