What is Online Identity Protection?

Online Identity Protection scans for certain types of personal information and notifies you if it's found on the dark web or in a data breach. Included with Greenlight Max, Greenlight Infinity, and Greenlight Family Shield, it's a simple way to stay informed and help keep your whole family one step ahead of identity threats.

What information is monitored?

Online Identity Protection can monitor the following types of information:

  • First name and last name
  • Mailing address
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Social Security number
  • Date of birth
  • Passport number
  • Credit card number
  • Bank account number
  • Driver’s license number
  • Medical ID

Next to each type of monitored information in the app, you’ll see how many pieces of that information are currently being tracked.

Who Can Enroll in Online Identity Protection?

The following family members can be enrolled:

For children, Online Identity Protection is managed by the Primary Accountholder. Children won’t see this feature in their app, but the Primary can activate monitoring and review alerts on their behalf.
