How do I activate my Safe Family device?
You'll activate your device by powering it on while the Greenlight app is open on your phone. Make sure your device is charged before you begin. You can plug your safety device into the included charging cable to ensure it's fully charged before you activate.
If the green light doesn't appear on your device when you press the button, you may need to continue to charge it.
- Make sure the Greenlight app is open on your phone and that you're logged in
- With your device nearby, long press the blue button on the top right corner of the device to power it on
- You'll see a green light appear at the top of the device
- If the green light does not appear, charge your device before continuing.
- Tap "Next" once you see the green light
- That’s it! It may take a few minutes for your device to pair. While you wait, you can set up place alerts for your device.
How long does activation take?
Activation typically completes within a few minutes. The app will notify you once your device is active and ready to use.
