How do I sign in with Google or Apple?

You can now sign in to Greenlight using your Google or Apple account, no Greenlight password needed! Here's how, plus what to know before you get started. 

How do I sign in using Google?

1. Open the Greenlight app and tap “Sign in”
2. On the sign-in screen, tap “Continue with Google”
3. If prompted, allow Greenlight to use your Google account to sign in and tap “Continue”
4. Select the Google account you'd like to use
5. Enter your Google account password if prompted
6. If prompted, on the “Verify your Greenlight account” screen, enter your Greenlight phone number or username and password, then tap “Sign in”
7. You may be asked to enter a one-time code sent to your phone number
8. You'll see a “You're connected securely” confirmation, then land on your Greenlight home screen

How do I sign in using Apple?

The first time you sign in with Apple, you'll be asked to verify your Greenlight account before the connection is made. After that, future sign-ins will take you straight to your home screen.

1. Open the Greenlight app and tap “Sign in”
2. On the sign-in screen, tap “Continue with Apple”
3. If requested, complete the Apple ID prompt and choose whether you’d like to share or hide your email address
4. You'll see a “Connecting your account” screen briefly
5. If prompted, on the “Verify your Greenlight account” screen, enter your Greenlight phone number or username and password, then tap “Sign in”
6. You may be asked to enter the one-time code sent to your phone number
7. You'll see a “You're connected securely” confirmation, then land on your Greenlight home screen

Can I still sign in with my phone number or password?

Yes! Signing in with Google or Apple is an option, not a requirement. You can continue signing in the way you always have, using your phone number or email and password.

Does signing in with Google or Apple share my password with Greenlight?

Nope. Greenlight never receives or stores your Google or Apple password. We use a secure process that only shares basic profile information like your name and email address.
