What's the return window?

You have 30 days from the date your order is delivered to initiate a return. We recommend starting the process as soon as you know you'd like to return your device, it only takes a few minutes!

How do I start a Family Hub return?

You can start a return on your own in just a few steps. Here's how:

  1. Open your Greenlight delivery confirmation email and click "Start a return here"
  2. On the Greenlight returns page, enter your email address and order number (you can find your order number in your order confirmation email), then click "View order details"
  3. On the next screen, click "Start return" in the top right corner
  4. Select the item you'd like to return, choose a reason from the dropdown, and confirm your return quantity, then click "Continue"
  5. On the Return Summary screen, choose how you'd like to return your package:
    • Show a QR code — display it with your smartphone at a participating USPS location (no printing needed!)
    • Print a label — print and apply to your package, then drop off at any USPS dropbox or store
  6. Click "Submit return"

Once submitted, you'll receive a confirmation email with your prepaid shipping label — return shipping is on us, so you won't pay a thing. Drop your package off at your local USPS store and you're all set! Once we receive your Family Hub we will complete a full factory reset on our end. However, if you have the time, we do encourage you to complete the factory reset before returning your device!

When will I receive my refund?

Once our team receives and confirms your Family Hub device return (about 1 week once shipped), your refund will be processed within 1–2 business days and your funds will be sent back to the original payment method you used at checkout.

If you purchased an annual Family Hub Plus plan and would like to cancel and be refunded for it (within your first 30 days), please let our support team know so we can assist you with your refund.
