Absolutely! If you're passing your Family Hub along to someone new, here's what you'll need to do to get it ready:
- Perform a factory reset on your Hub to clear your account and personal data. Steps for that can be found here
- Contact our support team to have the device deactivated and removed from your account. If you're on a Family Hub Plus plan, our team will be able to help deactivate your account as well if needed
- Once your Hub is factory reset and deactivated, the new owner will be able to set up the Family Hub with their own Greenlight account!
A couple of important things to know:
- Your plan does not transfer with the device. Your Family Hub plan stays with your Greenlight account so the new owner will need to sign up with their own plan to get started
- The Hub must be fully deactivated and factory reset before the new owner can activate it on their account. If they try to set it up before that's done, they may run into issues during onboarding.
