Can my child or older adult move money out of Savings and into Spending without my approval?

To start, kids and older adults must have the Primary Accountholder approve of money being moved out of Savings and into Spending. However, they can choose to toggle off this approval step if they would like to.

1. Open your Greenlight app and navigate to the child or older adult’s Dashboard.
2. Tap “Profile” in the top right corner.
3. Scroll to the bottom of their Settings and toggle “Transfer out of savings" settings to ON.

When this is toggled on, kids and older adults are able to freely move money out of Savings and into Spending without needing to request for approval first.
