Can my child or older adult move money out of Savings and into Spending without my approval?

By default, kids and older adults need the Primary Accountholder’s approval to move money from Savings to Spending. However, this approval step can be toggled off if you'd prefer to give them more flexibility!

To update this setting:

1. Open the Greenlight app and go to their Dashboard
2. Tap on “Permissions” 
3. Toggle “Transfer out of savings” ON

Once this is turned on, they’ll be able to move money from Savings to Spending freely without approval and the funds will be added instantly.
