What are card permissions and how can I set them up?

Older adults can spend safely with an optional Greenlight debit card and you can set up card permissions as the Primary Accountholder to help them spend with guidance!

There are several different permissions that you can enable and disable for the older adult on your Greenlight Family Shield account:

• Transfer out of Savings: This allows them to move money out of their Greenlight savings account without the primary accountholder’s approval
• Online and phone purchases: This allows them to use their Greenlight card for purchases over the phone and online purchases
• International transactions: This allows them to make purchases with merchants outside of the United States
• Charitable donations: This allows them to use their card for donations or charities 
• ATM withdrawals: This allows them to withdraw cash from ATMs

How can I set up card permissions?

You can set up the card permissions for the older adult on your account by:

1. From the home dashboard of older adult’s profile, tap on the “Profile” button 
2. From Profile, tap on “Permissions” 
3. Set/adjust their card permissions!
