No worries — this is an easy fix! If your child's or older adult's name is spelled incorrectly on their card, you'll just need to update it in the app first and then order a replacement card.
Step 1: Correct the name in the app
Before ordering a replacement, make sure the name is updated in the app so the new card prints correctly.
- Log in to your Greenlight app
- Tap the cardholder's profile icon to go to their dashboard
- Tap "Profile" at the top of the page
- Tap "Personal information"
- Tap "Name" and verify your account by entering your Greenlight password
- Update their name accordingly
- Tap "Save"
Important: Any special characters in a name will not be printed on the card — the card will arrive with standard characters only.
Step 2: Order a replacement card
Once their name is updated, you can order a replacement card through the replacement card flow. When prompted to select a replacement reason, choose "Damaged."
