How do I get a refund back to my debit card?
If you’ve loaded funds from your debit card and would like a refund returned to that same card, our team can help! Please text us at 404-974-3024 or call 888-483-2645, and we’ll be happy to assist you with your refund.
Refunds to debit cards can only be processed to the same card used to load funds for security reasons. Once your request is processed, you should receive your refund within 2-3 business days.
What happens to funds after an account is closed?
If your account has been closed and funds remain in your Greenlight Wallet, we’ll first attempt to return the balance to your original payment method. If this isn’t possible, any unclaimed funds will be sent to your state’s unclaimed property office in accordance with standard banking regulations. This is called escheatment, and it’s an established process to keep your money safe. Read more on the escheatment process here!
