Can I review my child’s chores after they mark them as complete?

Yes! You can review your child’s chores after they mark them as complete. Whether you’ve linked their chores to an allowance or simply assigned them to build good habits, you’ll have the option to check their work once they mark a chore as done.

You can set chores to require parent review while creating them! Follow the steps in this article to learn how.

How do I review my child’s chores that they’ve marked as complete?

When your child completes a chore that requires your review, you’ll get a push notification right to your device. You can also see which chores are ready to review by following the steps below in your app.

1. Tap the “Chores” tab from the bottom of your app
2. Tap on the child’s profile that you would like to review from the top of your app
3. If your child has marked chores as complete, you’ll see a green bar at the top of the page showing how many are ready for your review
4. Tap “Review”
5. You’re welcome to “Add a note” in regards to how they did completing the chore 
6. Tap “Redo” if you feel like the chore was not quite completed to your satisfaction
   • You’re welcome to “Add a note” for them as well to help point your child in the right direction to better complete their chore the second time!
7. Tap “Approve” if you feel like the chore was completed correctly, this will officially mark the chore as completed 
8. Tap “Pay $” if you added a $ incentive to the chore, and that money will be added to your child’s account
