How do I view and manage mobile devices signed in to my Greenlight account?

Greenlight lets you view and manage the devices that are signed in to your account through reviewing the “Session management” section in your Greenlight app. This helps you keep your account secure and remove access from devices you don’t recognize or no longer use!

When a new device signs in to your account—or a child’s or older adult’s account—you’ll receive a push notification and an email. Primary Accountholders and Approvers can also view and manage devices for kids or older adults on the account, depending on their access level.

How do I view the devices my account is signed into? 

  1. Tap the Settings gear on the home dashboard
  2. Tap “Security”
  3. Tap “Session management
  4. Here you’ll see:
  • Your “Current device” (the device you’re using now)
  • A list of “Other Devices” that have signed in to your account

What information is shown for each device?

Each session listed in “Session management” includes the following information related to each:

  • Device type (for example, iPhone, iPad, or Android)
  • Platform (iOS, Android, Mac, or Windows)
  • Last login date, showing the most recent sign-in from that device
  • Location, based on the device’s IP address (approximate)

Who can view sessions?

  • Primary Accountholders can view sessions for their own account and for kids or older adults on the account
  • Approvers can view and manage devices for their own accounts and for children or older adults if access has been enabled by the Primary Accountholder

How do I remove a device?

If you don’t recognize a device’s session or no longer want a device to have access to your account, you can end the session at any time.

To end a specific session:

  • Tap “Remove” next to the session

To end all other sessions:

  • Tap “Log out of all other devices” (This keeps you signed in on your current device)

Once a session is ended, Greenlight revokes access for that device on your account. The user will be signed out of the Greenlight app and must log in again to regain access.

What should I do if I don’t recognize a session?

If you see a session you don’t recognize, we recommend “Removing” that device and resetting your Greenlight account password right away to help keep your account secure!
