"Hub device only" means that feature is available exclusively on the physical Family Hub device. Without it, you will not be able to enjoy those specific features since they aren’t accessible through the Greenlight app solely.
What does each feature do?
Shared family calendar — one synced calendar for the whole household. Everyone can see what's coming up, from school events to sports practices to family appointments.
Chores with star rewards — create and assign chores for your kids, track completion, and reward them with stars they can work toward goals with.
Chores with cash rewards — create and assign chores for your kids, track completion, and reward them with money they can use to spend or work towards savings goals with.
To-do and grocery lists — shared lists that update in real time across your Hub and the Greenlight app. Grocery lists can automatically organize items by store aisle so shopping is faster.
Photos & Screensaver Mode — fill your Hub screen with your family's favorite photos as a slideshow or screensaver when it's not in active use. Available on the Family Hub display only.
AI calendar auto-tagging — automatically categorizes your calendar events by type (school, sports, appointments, and more) so your calendar stays organized without any extra effort.
Level Up — Build money confidence together as a family, through a best-in-class interactive financial literacy curriculum
AI text assistant — tap the assistant icon on your Hub and type a question or request. Ask about the calendar, add something to a list, check on chores, or get a daily summary — all without saying a word.
AI voice assistant ("Hey Greenlight") — hands-free help from anywhere in the room. Just say "Hey Greenlight" and your Hub listens, responds out loud, and handles your request. Plus plans only.
AI email-to-calendar — connects to your family's email accounts and automatically adds relevant events to the calendar — school newsletters, team schedules, appointment confirmations, and more. Plus plans only.
