Is there a free trial?

When you sign up for Greenlight, all plans with a monthly subscription fee include a one-month risk-free trial. That way, you can take your time exploring the app and seeing what it’s all about!

Your first monthly fee (plus any applicable taxes) is charged on the seventh day following your registration completion date. The charge will cover your whole first month, starting from the day you registered.

If Greenlight is not a fit for your family during this time, you will be able to cancel easily, no questions asked, and get a full refund if the monthly fee has been paid.

Note: Because the Greenlight Safe Family plan does not have a monthly subscription fee, it does not include a risk-free trial. Instead, families using a Greenlight Safety Device pay a monthly data charge per device starting on day one. Learn more about Greenlight Safe Family billing here.

Why did I see two charges in one month?

You may see two charges in one month after registration because the initial charge was for your first monthly fee (charged 7 days after registration), and the second charge, on your billing date, was for the following monthly fee (charged 30 days after registration). Going forward, your fee will be assessed once per month on your billing date.

To see when your monthly billing date will be, check out How do I view my invoices and check my billing date?

Valid for new customers only. Subject to identity verification and minimum load requirements. Your first monthly fee will be billed to your Greenlight Wallet seven days after successful registration. To receive a refund of your first monthly fee, you must request to close your account on or before the day immediately preceding your first Monthly Billing Date. See the ‘Account’ tab of Settings by tapping the gear icon on the Greenlight app home page to confirm when your risk-free trial ends. See Terms for details.
