How can I dispute a charge on my Greenlight account?

If you would like to dispute a purchase, please have the Primary Accountholder or Authorized Approver call our support line at your earliest convenience at 888-483-2645 (this number is located on the back of your Greenlight Card), or fill out this form to file your dispute. 

Please keep in mind that the transaction you want to dispute must settle in your account first. This typically takes 1-3 days after your initial purchase depending on the merchant. Please let the transaction settle in your account before contacting customer support. 

How long do I have to file a dispute?

You must file a transaction dispute within 60 days of the date the transaction is posted and settled in your app.

What if it's been more than 60 days?

If more than 60 days have passed since the transaction posted, please reach out to our support team. We understand you may still want to dispute the charge, and we will do our best to assist you in filing a claim. However, please note that disputes filed outside the standard timeframe may face a greater risk of denial from our overseeing bank.

How do I get more information after filing a dispute?

Once you file your dispute, you will receive a message via email or mail within 90 business days to update you on the status of your claim, which is the standard amount of time a merchant is given to respond to a dispute.
