Does Greenlight require a minimum balance?

Nope! There’s no minimum balance required for your Greenlight account.

You don’t need to keep a certain amount of money in your Greenlight Wallet to keep your account open or active. If your balance goes down to $0, that’s completely okay — your account will still be there whenever you’re ready to add more funds.

We want managing money with Greenlight to feel flexible and stress-free, not like something you have to constantly monitor just to meet a requirement.

What happens if I don’t have enough money for my monthly fee?

If you’re on a paid Greenlight plan, your monthly subscription fee will first come out of your Greenlight Wallet. If there isn’t enough money in the wallet at that time, we’ll simply charge your linked funding source instead.

That way, your plan continues without interruption, even if your wallet balance is low when the payment is due.

If you ever need to update your funding source or review your billing details, you can do that anytime in your app settings.
