Greenlight offers two different types of plans, and understanding which one is right for your family makes getting started a lot easier. Here's a quick breakdown.
What is the Greenlight Safe Family plan?
The Greenlight Safe Family plan is a free service plan with no monthly subscription fee for the plan itself — you only pay a $5.99/month data subscription per active device. This is designed specifically for families who purchase a Safe Family device and want to manage it through the Greenlight app.
With the Safe Family plan, you'll have access to:
- Real-time GPS location tracking for your device
- Place alerts (notifications when the device arrives at or leaves set locations)
- SOS alerts from the device
- Device settings and management in the Greenlight app
Important: The Safe Family plan does not include access to any of Greenlight's financial features, such as debit cards for kids, investing, savings, or account management tools.
What are Greenlight's financial plans?
Greenlight's financial plans — Core, Max, Infinity, and Family Shield — are subscription-based plans that give families access to Greenlight's full suite of financial tools, including debit cards for kids, parental controls, investing, savings goals, and more!
Families on these plans can also add a Safe Family device to their account for an additional $4.99/month per device, and will have access to both their plan features and device management in one place.
