Can I resell my Safety device or give it to someone else?

Absolutely! Once your device has been fully deactivated and your final billing cycle has ended, you're free to pass it along to someone new. No factory reset is needed either, cancelling your device subscription is all it takes to make it ready for its next home.

The new owner will need to create their own Greenlight account or set up a new data subscription to get started. Point them to this article and they'll be all set! 

Important: The device can't be activated on a new account until it's been fully deactivated on yours. If the new owner tries to set it up before your billing cycle ends, they'll see an error — our setup troubleshooting guide can help with that.
