How can I order or change my Greenlight Custom Card?

A Custom Card is a great way to let your child's or older adult's personality shine — right on their debit card! Whether you're ordering one for the first time or updating to a new photo, it's easy to do right from your Greenlight app.

How do I order a custom card for the first time?

Here's how to get started:

  1. Tap the cardholder's profile in your Greenlight app
  2. Tap "Manage [first name's] debit card"
  3. Tap "Order a custom card"
  4. Upload the photo you'd like to use
  5. Select a payment method to cover the $9.99 charge
  6. Review the shipping address and choose your shipping speed
  7. Tap "Confirm" to place the order

How do I update my cardholder's custom card image?

Good news — you can swap out their custom card photo anytime! Since updating the image requires issuing a new card, you'll do this through the replacement card flow. When you reach the card style options, simply swipe to "Upload new photo ($9.99)" to upload a new image.

Important: A new card means a new card number, expiration date, and CVV. Any places where the old card was saved — like digital wallets, rideshare apps, or subscription services — will need to be updated once the new card is activated.

What do I do if my custom card image is rejected?

If your image doesn't meet our guidelines, your card management screen will show "New image needed" along with the reason for rejection. Simply tap "Upload new image" to try again with a different photo — there's no limit on resubmissions. The Primary Accountholder will also receive an email notification letting them know the image needs attention.

How much does a Custom Card cost?

A custom card image costs $9.99 plus applicable taxes, whether you're ordering for the first time or updating to a new photo. Expedited shipping is available for an additional $24.99 plus applicable taxes.
