Can I add Venmo or PayPal as a funding source?

Our new subscribers are now able to add Venmo and Paypal as a funding source. Unfortunately, for all other existing Greenlight users, this capability is not yet available.

If you are new to Greenlight, you can easily add your personal Venmo or Paypal account as a funding source during initial set-up. Once you reach the “Add your funding source” page, just click into “Other funding methods'' and select Venmo or Paypal. After your preferred selection has been made, you may be redirected to the Venmo app or PayPal site to authenticate your account information. Once verified, you will be able load the minimum amount instantly to your Parent’s Wallet, set up autofunding or manually move funds in the future from your selected account into Greenlight. 

Please note that only personal (non-business), U.S. Venmo and Paypal accounts are accepted currently. Each user may have only one Venmo account and one PayPal account linked to their Greenlight account at one time.You can also add a bank account or a debit card as a funding source if you prefer. Business bank accounts and business debit cards are not permitted.
