Yes! You can add a personal Venmo or PayPal account as a funding source in the Greenlight app at any time.
Once linked, you can use Venmo or PayPal to instantly add money to your Greenlight Wallet, set up autofunding, or send funds to your family whenever you need to.
How do I add my Venmo or PayPal account?
- Log in to your Greenlight app
- Tap the settings gear in the top right corner of your Home dashboard
- Tap “Account”
- Tap “Funding”
- Tap “Funding sources”
- Tap “+ Add funding source”
- Tap the “See more options” dropdown then choose “Venmo” or “PayPal”

Follow the prompts to connect your account
- You may be redirected to the Venmo app or PayPal website to finish verifying your information
Once your account is connected, you’re all set to move money into Greenlight now or in the future.
How do I remove or change my Venmo or PayPal account?
You can link one Venmo account and one PayPal account at a time in the Greenlight app.
If you’d like to connect a different Venmo or PayPal account, no problem! You’ll just need to remove the one that’s currently linked first, then you can add your new account by following the steps above.

A few things to keep in mind
- Venmo and PayPal must be personal (non-business), U.S.-based accounts
- There is a $20 minimum load amount when adding funds from Venmo or PayPal
- You can also add bank accounts or debit cards as a funding source in addition to your Venmo and PayPal account
