What protection and safety options does Greenlight offer?

Greenlight offers a range of protection and safety features to help families stay secure and connected! Available features depend on your plan and whether you use a Greenlight Safety Device.

Protection features

Available on: Greenlight Max, Greenlight Infinity, and Greenlight Family Shield

These protections help safeguard your family, identity, and eligible purchases.

• Identity Theft Protection: Theft monitoring, alerting and restoration for the whole family
• Cell Phone Protection: Coverage for damaged, lost, or stolen phones for up to five kids*
• Purchase Protection: Repair or replacement for eligible Greenlight purchases that are stolen or damaged*

Additional protections with Greenlight Family Shield

Greenlight Family Shield includes all the protections available on Infinity, with added coverage designed for families who want extra peace of mind. With Family Shield, families get:

• External Account Monitoring: Monitor linked external accounts for suspicious activity to help detect fraud and prevent losses
• Identity Theft Coverage: Coverage up to $1 million in identity restoration costs for you and your family
• Deceptive Transfer Insurance Coverage: Reimbursement for eligible scam-related losses up to $100,000 for accounts linked for account monitoring

In-app Safety features

Available on: Greenlight Infinity and Greenlight Family Shield

These safety features are built directly into the Greenlight app and don’t require a Safety Device.

• Family Location Sharing: Switch on location sharing to stay connected with your family
• SOS Alerts (In-App): Send an alert to emergency contacts, 911, or both with one swipe
• Crash Detection: Your app will automatically dispatch 911 when a crash is detected

Device-Based Safety Features (Greenlight Safety Device)

The Greenlight Safety Device provides additional safety support for family members (and pets!) who may not carry a phone. With Greenlight Safe Family, families can choose safety experiences designed for kids, pets, and seniors, helping protect everyone who matters most.

Our safety device works alongside the Greenlight app and can be managed through Greenlight Safe Family, Greenlight Infinity, or Greenlight Family Shield plans. Families on Infinity and Family Shield can manage the Safety Device while also enjoying all the other features those plans have to offer.

The Safe Family plan is designed specifically for families who want to use the Greenlight Safety Device as their only safety solution.

• SOS Alerts (Device-Based): Send an SOS alert directly from the Safety Device to the family members on your Greenlight account to alert them quickly if the device holder needs help
• Enhanced Location Updates: The device will provide regular location updates at intervals you choose, from every 1 to 10 minutes, ensuring you have up-to-date information on your loved ones whereabouts
• Place Alerts: Define virtual boundaries for specific locations ( like home, school, or the park) and get notified when the device enters or leaves the places you set
• Fall Detection: Sends an alert to chosen contacts if a potential fall is detected by the safety device
• Pet Mode: Enable location tracking for pets to keep track of where they are
